Several people I know have Dells. My sister's had a problem with the keyboard, and I think it got fixed pretty quickly if I remember right. Sounds kinda hit and miss as far as their customer service goes then, but from my second-hand experience it didn't seem that bad. Maybe the problem is between Dell's sales and service departments or something. If you're mostly doing business apps for cons and stuff for school, you probably don't need something with a heck of a lot of bells and whistles. I would take a look at what things are important to you (like battery life, weight, dimensions, heat, etc) and check out what's available from the "larger" companies. I think you're more likely to get support from the company and feedback from other customers that way.

I find both the books and the movies very entertaining. I mean, I'm not exactly expected some kind of spiritual epiphany. I pop the DVDs in and watch them when I just want some entertainment, and they work fine.

That is really cool. I especially like the source lighting effect in the first picture. Looks like you put in a lot of work on this one, and it definitely paid off. I'm not sure if it's just me, but the pictures are a little dark.

Skim milk yogurt?!? Bleah! A little more on topic, I have that same problem sometimes with my glazing. It would make sense that it's too much paint, since I usually have that problem when I'm getting impatient.

Agree with all above. Warjacks just have never really nabbed my brain, and while I think the girl's a very well-done sculpt, it does kinda strike me as an odd choice of posing as well.
