  1. Cool, N! Thanks for the tip! I totally missed hitting the forums over there.
  2. Wow! The second one looks kinda like a deep-sea diving suit. Those are pretty cool.
  3. Hey, has anyone had any difficulties in receiving orders from Dark Age Games (the Brom folks)? I placed an order at the end of February with them and the order still shows pending. I have sent 2 or 3 emails since then but have not received any replies. The last note on the site said they would be at GAMA but that was a couple of weeks ago. Are they MIA?
  4. That is terrific! Brilliant idea on the source material!
  5. Thanks CL! Yes, it went to a good home. Yay!
  6. When I was out at Reaper last weekend I got to fondle, er examine, the succubus and mermaid master castings. They are completely awesome. Anne told us that the succubus should be available around July or so. I reckon both of these should be out before GenCon.
  7. NICE! That's looking really good! Ain't it great to have a pal to share your creativity with?
  8. Thanks everyone!. She's been finished for a while. I'd like to paint another with some mad freehand work though. We'll see how that works out.
  9. I painted her using Reaper Master Series paint and stands poised and ready to strike atop a rusty industrial spire which is custom scratchbuilt from various plastic bits. I thought that this particular figure lent itself well to warm colors, especially since most everyone else has painted her in cool and dark colors. Let me know what you think! Do the votey thing here! Do the biddy thing here!
  10. Mmmmm! Tasty mermaid goodness! I dig the Samurai chick too. The sorceress looks great but I'm not too hip on the horns.
  11. Terrific work! I really like the color choices on these and am looking forward to seeing more. The runes on the blade are great!
  12. That irks me a little insisting that PP rips off those designs when anyone can plainly see that Rackham, and now Ilyad, has ripped just about every design style, let alone most of it's fluff for the Celtic stuff, directly from Simon Bisley's interpretation of the Slaine: The Horned God trilogy of graphic novels. http://www.simonbisleyonline.com/galleryslaine.htm It's like saying that no one can do orcs or elves because Tolkein already did them. Granted, I'm tired of orcs and elves and if companies move on to stealing each other's designs for spasm warriors, good deal. At least they aren't as overdone as orcs and elves.......yet......... [edit] This also isn't directed at anyone in particular but just a general observation[/edit]
  13. These guys look a little werewolfy but still pretty fun.
  14. That's fantastic! I'm looking forward to the hobbity character from their concept art. Very cool! http://www.latorremodels.com/imagenes/Yarry.jpg
  15. HOLY COW!!! That is chock-full of Dwarfy goodness!I love the composition and can't wait to see the finished paint. The cannon looks great!
  16. I think coco is chocolate. But then again, I'm kookoo for Cocoa Puffs too.
  17. Man! These guys are the coolest but I'm not sure how the critter's arms are supposed to articulate at the shoulders.
  18. It sure seems like it. I agree with the nose, in profile it looks a little flat. I really like the way her flesh kinda pokes out a little between the hem of her top and the belt. Very natural.
  19. They are troll-er-ific! Will buy as many as I can field.
  20. Oh! That's an eyestalk! Y'know for just a minute there.... :tapedshut That's gotta be the most characterful beholder sculpt I have ever seen. Any plans on a roper or otyugh!?!?
  21. Oooh! I dig it! Fantastic colors. :tea:
  22. I filled the crack so she's got tight-assed lycra spandex on, like all good Browncoat/Steampunk pirate chicks will be wearing. The mix of the putty was a bit off from the original nude so there is some coloring shadow, but be assured, it should be glass-smooth across those cheeks. Check out any Zoe booty shot on the new Serenity DVD and that is the exact look I try to shoot for in all my sculpts.
  23. :hijacked: I'm too much of an old Rock 'n' Roll hippie to keep up with all the new-fangled tunes out there. This is what I usually have on: http://www.jackontheweb.com You can stream their broadcast right over your PC. Little chatter, no DJs and a great mix of genres. [/highjack] Arg!
