  1. Sculpted with an axe by a perverted, blind sculptor with Parkinson's disease, you mean?
  2. That has got to be the clumsiest weapon ever! And those huge antlers on his head aren't much better... The combination of them is plain stupid!
  3. It IS a kid. Hasslefree's regular minis are 28 mm to eye level, or thereabouts, so it's a big difference. Plus, Kev says it's a kid! "Oh my god, they killed Kenny!!!"
  4. Except that this is a kid. It's apparently 22 mm to eye level or something...
  5. No, he probably got his catheters installed today.
  6. Congratulations on officially becoming OLD!! :vb_devil:
  7. My head hurts just from looking at that construction... My hat's off to you for pulling it off with such finesse. Congratulations! I look forward to seeing more pics and close-ups.
  8. This was pre-released at the World Expo and is now on general release: Sculpted by Raul Latorre. Sculpted by Seth Nash Sculpted by Remy Tremblay Sculpted by Pedro Fernández Ramos (ex-Game Zone sculptor) Winner of the Enigma sculpting contest Sculpted by Thais
  9. Congrats Eric! Hope you'll have a happy life together!
  10. That's cool! One of the better pieces from Freebooter in a good while.
  11. This one is my favourite. Makes me think of Dark City.
  12. Resin, I think. The game will only be in French to begin with, but they are working on an English version.
  13. Haha Yeah, the lizards look dodgy, to say the least... And the girls look like those inflatable... erm... dolls... you know... for... never mind!
  14. ...or your entries... sorry, entry...
  15. Here's the runner up, that, if I understood correctly, will also be put into the Enigma range. This ones not quite finished in the picture above. It's made by Maxime Pennaud, who did the lovely Avalonian Recruit bust for Artefactory and the JMD Orc bust.
  16. You say that as if creepy is a bad thing... :hmmmm:
  17. Yes, it's going to be produced, and if I understood the Babelfish translation right the second place winner is also going to be produced as it goes with the 54 mm line (the one above goes with the 30 mm line).
  18. You want the diamond needle files! Yep, they will cost you, but it's the same as with buying a quality brush... they'll last you a long time and will not be expensive in the end considering how much use you've got out of a single set.
  19. Maybe I should expand upon my comment a little... The pose, as have been hinted at, is slightly ridiculous. The face, usually the most important part of a mini, looks awkward, stiff, overly-stylised to the point of looking like a wooden mask, and the whole mini is littered with knobs (I mean, come on!! They're all over it!!). The technical aspects of the sculpt might be good, but sculpting is not just technique (just as little as painting is not just about blending). This sculpt shows very little evidence of any understanding about human form and movement (yeah, it's an elf... but still...), and it also reeks of bad design.
  20. This is from the George R R Martin "Song of Fire and Ice" series, and it's supposed to depict Princess Danaerys when she emerges from her husband's funeral pyre with the three new-born dragons. Her hair is burnt off, but otherwise she's unharmed being of the blood of the dragon. Tom Meier sculpted this as a modern interpretation of Andrea Boticelli's Venus, where the three dragons replace the flowing hair of Venus. There will also be a 30 mm version of this to tie in with the rest of the line. I like it a lot!
  21. Lovely! Gave you a comment on CMON, so I'll not bother repeating it here.
