  1. Thanks again for the two wonderful painting workshops at Gencon - I'll most definitely send you pictures if I ever do some sheer/wet clothing and have a working camera on hand!

  2. Do you still sell recessed bases to hide broccoli bases?

  3. Welcomes! There used to be, but not anymore. Maya~
  4. Its in Indianapolis, Indiana. http://gencon.com Maya~
  5. Moved! If you don't have access to a local game store that can help you with painting (or even if you do) I would recommend getting yourself some of the Reaper Miniatures learn to paint kits. They are very good step by steps, with pictures!, that will help you get into the basics. They are very very good ways to start and will make it much easier to figure out where you want to go with your miniatures and what you want to learn/ask about to make that happen. Maya~
  6. Never used one for painting, though with my eyesight headed downhill I should probably start. Maya~
  7. Personally, I would get a couple of the colors you think you would use most (skintones etc) of Reaper (both the Masters and Pro lines), Vallejo or any paint line you think you might want to use. Then give all of them a try to see which ones work for you and your painting style. Then you haven't invested a ton in a paint line that you might end up not liking. For brushes pretty much the same advice. Maya~
  8. Soo thirded. Antenociti's ships fast with good product and very good shipping costs. I'm US based and I prefer to order from there rather than Skullcrafts. Not to mention they have way more stuff to add to orders. Maya~
  9. I was wondering if it was one of Ann's composite students that live around the Atlanta area. (There are not a lot of composite artists in Georgia) That's one of Marla's composites. She's not one of Ann's students and I'm surprised you got her since there is a long waiting list for her work. She's very good at it so you have a good image to circulate. Maya~
  10. Dear god.. I am so sorry that the police didn't catch him. Thats every parents nightmare and I'm glad your daughter got away.
  11. My painting (and now my drawing and sculpting) space is now a computer cabinet. Keeps the kiddy and the four legged kitties out of everything. I've found it also makes wips less idiot prone as I don't knock stuff over by bumping a table anymore when not painting.
