nagash13 Posted October 22, 2013 Report Share Posted October 22, 2013 several companies make base inserts, or custom designed resin bases. some people also use green stuff putty in the base and then press the design in too. another option is to take balsa wood, or wodden stir sticks from coffee shops, and glue them down on the base, trim them, and then ink or stain the wood for the effect you want.
