Longstrider
So, I recently picked up some of the base inserts from Wyrd, and I really liked using them. Nice and easy, and drilling/pinning wasn't too bad. I just don't want duplicates, and beyond a certain point there's only so much messing around with the paint colour of the sand or water on the zen and driftwood bases is going to do. Anyone have tips on varying them up a bit more than that, that're still within the realm of easy to do? Thanks! nagash13
I am a huge fan of secret weapon miniatures for resin bases (have not yet tested their washes and weathering powders) plus they sell quality brushes and basing addons (static grass, grass clumps, long grass, leaves, etc. http://www.secretweaponminiatures.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=79_33&zenid=01039d303f0067384480bbc00c7eb877 that is the round lip bases they sell. i'm sure many of those would work for malifaux. rgarbonzo
Those Secret Weapon Bayou bases are what my new Gremlins will be going on. Had a chance to talk to the creator at GenCon, nice guy. He was demoing the washes and how to use them to paint the bases. All in all I cannot wait for more Bayou goodness!
