Nice looking wastrels!

Army painter washes are the replacement to look at. Dark tone is near identical to Babab black (and strong tone near identical to devlan mud). In my experience, they're almost impossible to tell apart. Here's a page comparing them:

I must definately try out the Army painter washes, they seem to be awesome. Nuln Oil isn't bad either, its just not quite as good as the old Badab Black. Thanks for the link!

Thats awesome! I was convinced that these guys were taken from gangs of new york until I saw your clockwork orange wastrels... and now I'm not sure!

My first thought when I saw the picture in Storm of Shadows was of Clockwork Orange, so I've really been looking forward to getting my hands on them and painting them.

is that Clockwork Orange? NICE love the look
