Hey all,

Need some clarification on a few abilities.

First: For Jakob's Slave to Darkness ability, must the cards be of equal value to be discarded (two 3's, two 8's, etc.)? It says the "same value," but then it goes on to say that Hungering Darkness will get wounds equal to half of one discarded card, suggesting they can be different.

Second: For Jakob's The Source spell, does the absence of "next" before activation mean that the spell cannot be cast and give a friendly model +1 Wk in the next turn? Must the +1 Wk be used in the current turn's activation phase?

both the same value, it says half of one discarded card to stop people thinking - I discarded two 4's, he comes back with half wounds - that's half of 8 (the two cards discarded)

1. Yeh, they have to be of the same value. The part where it says 'one of the dsicarded cards' is to avoid confusion on the number of wounds Hungering Darkness returns with i suppose. If it was half the number of wounds as the cards then it could be up to 14 wounds.

2. Correct. While the aura is up, any model with brilliance activating within the aura gains +1 Wk. It won't transfer to another turn.
