Registration opens on 11.12.12 and the con is April 18th thru 21st Events this year are Thursday Night - Malifaux Cake Match event: This is a very casual event where you form a team and play a game of Malifaux. The prize is cake. Friday - Malifaux Team Tournament: We heard everyones demands and have bit the bullet and made this a long event. 3 hour long rounds should let everyone get to turn 6. We will be using similiar rules to last year(Each teammate has a 25 stone crew they bring) Saturday - Adepticon Masters of Malifaux: This is the hardcore event for those who really want to show what they got. Prizes will be awarded for placing and the top players will also get to compete in the Avatar event Sunday Saturday Night - Fountain of Souls(A Malifaux Story Encounter Tournament) and The Govenors Generals Costume Ball: This will be a standard 3 round Malifaux Story Encounter(being written by the internet famous Bill "aka Nix aka That guy from the Gamers Lounger" Anderson) but with a twist that it will also be a Costume party. So come as your favorite Malifaux character(or something vaguelly in the spirit of Malifaux) and enjoy an evening of Malifaux and merryment. Sunday - Adepticon Avatar of Malifaux tournament: A Single elimination tournament featuring the best players from the weekend(and possibly previous Adepticon Winners). Malifaux returns bigger and better for it's third straight year! From the competitive Master of Malifaux tournament, which culminates in the crowning of the Malifaux Avatar of Adepticon, to the ever-ridiculous Malifaux Cake Match, AdeptiCon offers events for the casual and hardcore player alike in the strange and interesting world of Malifaux. Make sure to also check out the Malifaux by Gaslight Achievement League and the revamped Malifaux Story Encounter Tournament...now featuring a full-on costume party! Must go to bed earlier than last year so I wake up on time!!! I am glad to see Spencer and Joe volunteered for over-night duties.
