CannonFodder
Has anyone recently carried minis a on a flight. I'm not really concerned about the manhandling, more about the fact that malifaux minis have guns on them. I saw a couple news stories where the TSA agents had to open up a box with a toy soldier, and removed the rifle from the box and mailed it. Ratty
Really? Wow. The only experience I've had was being fast tracked through customs in Chicago because they liked my painting. Which was rather amusing at the time.
dsmiles
My last flight was in February. Took my Malifaux minis, and some WarmaHordes minis in a BattleFoam bag as my carry-on. No problems there.
ICleadpeople
Should be no problem if you are going carry on. Check the size limits for your air line and dont say they are hollow. I've read horror stories of the agents having to break minis to make sure they were empty.
RunTyme
Took my mini's to Gencon last year and carried them on. Got to LGA and they had me open the case and I just explained they are hand painted toy soldiers. They thought it was cool and pushed them through the scanner without any difficulty. On the way back, the people at Indy Airport didn't even blink or ask.. Many others had the same sort of items.
daemonkin
I was coming from Belfast to Liverpool with a black case during the troubles in Northern ireland and was immediately asked to open the case. At first the guys were like 'What the hell?' and then were asking all sorts of questions about the games and models. Was fun. D.
