0 DeusInnomen Posted June 25, 2012 Report Share Posted June 25, 2012 For reference, Rules Manual on page 52 has the order of events for casting a spell. On page 53, part D is "Caster Meets Additional Requirements" and describes this part. It comes after assuring your Final Duel total meets or exceeds the target number. If that goes off, THEN you pay the requirements. If you do not meet the target number, you do not pay the requirements. They can still successfully resist though and your costs are still paid.
