Guardian
Ok, so there was a situation where one player was shooting into a melee that involved 4 models. When "randomising", it had hit the hight 1 model behind a ht 1 terrain. What shouldve happened? 1. Can this model be a new target? 2.Does he get cover? 3. When determening the defense boost for shooting into melee, do the enemy models in melee range of the new target count?
0 roboshmoo
1 - yes it can be the target 2 - not really sure if it was ever answered 3 - only models in melee with the new target count towards his def bonus
0 Guardian
3 - only models in melee with the new target count towards his def bonus Ok, are these all models, or just the targets enemy models in his melee range?
0 roboshmoo
You can only ever be in melee with enemy models, friendly models never count. So only models which are enemy to the current target and in his melee range or they have him in their melee range count towards the def buff. 0 VBGames
Given that you can 'accidentally' hit a model in combat that is out of LOS, I don't believe he gets cover. Remember, shooting into combat represents hitting a stray punching arm and the like
