arise my sweet and madame sybelle

hi guys,

i'm just after a bit of clarification, i've done a search but didn't turn up anything.

if i choose to cast arise my sweet with seamus, can i summon madame sybelle?

the spell description says rotten belle but sybelle has the belle characteristic so is technically a rotten belle yeah?

any help clarifying this would be ace.

Nope you can't, it's just Rotten Belles, not all Belles. However Dead Doxies have an extra rule that allows them to be summoned by it. So it summons either Rotten Belles or Dead Doxies.

Molly, however, can summon Sybelle.

Unfortunately, no.

Rotten Belle is the name of a specific model, where as Belle is a characteristic like Family, Guardsmen, Gremlin etc. Arise my Sweet can only be used to summon Rotten Belles and now Dead Doxies due to their Part of the Harem rule. Molly's Undead Construction spell can be used to summon any model with the Belle characteristic so you can summon Sybelle with Molly.

i thought so. just wanted to check as it came up in a game the other day and we played it as no i couldn't summon her so we played it right

Nicodem has it as a clause that he cannot summon Uniques but there is nothing that stops it normally.
