Guardian
Oh, that's AWESOME news!!! Fortunately, Ill be coming back to Europe week before then! Still remember the 40k tournament on AAS! What a great experience Is this the first time that the Arena would be featuring Malifaux?
Csonti
Do I understand the rules correctly: you can only select one master (and Henchman as part of the 50 SS crew)? So say if I'd play Outcasts and take Sommer, I can only field him or Ophelia during the whole event. Right?
Demonn Agram
that's right. One master only. we decided to do it this way because of the last fight of the tournament where only the masters are involved. There might be a slight powercreep in so a player can take a relatively weak master (when on it's own but powerfull with various 35SS or 25SS combos) and play him the whole tournament but have in reserve another strong/buff master for only that last fight. @guardian: that's awesome. see you and Lady J. at AAS and yes it's the first time we organize an international Malifaux tournament (so far we've only had small, local ones..) Demonn Agram
A lame attempt at a trash/spaghetti western type of poster to help promote the event: oh, and you can start with the applications for the Malifaux tournament.. Demonn Agram
Great news! our event has a new sponsor: from the words of the man (James aka Lono) himself: Infamy Miniatures is very pleased to sponsor the Black Queen Miniature Painting Competition - Masterclass category (on 7th & 8th July) and Malifaux tournament's Best Painted Crew award (on 14th & 15th July) . I'm jealous I can't be there myself, but I really hope everyone has a great time and that the eventual winners enjoy painting the models. If you would like to get your hands on some Infamy models check out our IndieGoGo campaign
Gujozec
That's great news indeed! One more reason to attend. I'll be sending my application shortly.
Demonn Agram
Dead Heat Campaign rules are now included in the rulespack (errata is included in this post). Every game in this years tournament will be included in the Worldwide campaign. Rules: 1. Pairs are to be randomly drawn by Swiss method. Priority will be to prevent same fraction games if possible. 2. Only sectors without special rules can be contested. 3. We will provide the acurate map on the tournament itself (but we all know that by then Von Schill will claim all the sectors for the Outcasts *grin*). Demonn Agram
This weekend was the first part od the Agram Arena Summer 2012, an annual event my club organizes. We hosted a 40k tournament and a painting competition called Black Queen Miniature Competition. The competition was divided into 6 categories judged by a pannel of judges. the categories were: Single miniature, Large / Mounted miniature, Unit / Squad, Open, Diorama, Masterclass. This year for the first time, due to the increase of Malifaux player in our community, there was another category judged by our pannel - Best of Wyrd. Also, all the participants and visitors of the event could vote on one entry and the entry with the most votes would be crowned People's Choice. So, enough rambling, here come the winners (and some other entries..) Csonti
I just would like to give a healthy thanks to our wonderful hosts for inviting us to this fantastic event. I attended several international events during the years in many different systems but by far the Croatian one was the best organized tournament. The little touches like the welcome package with accessories give the event a big boost. I'm just sad about the lack of players from other countries. Zagreb looks an ideal place to meet with guys from at least Central and Eastern Europe. So fellow Malifaux players around those countries: consider participation next time, you won't regret it! Again, thanks for the invitation and the hard work you invested in this Marko. I guess next year we will come in even greater numbers. So prepare for the Hungarian invasion. Pepti
I would like to thank the invitation too. It was a very good competition, I enjoyed it. And I hope that next time I will see more gremlin players and less von Schills ;-) Peter Nemeth
