Exorcise am i missing something ?

Looking through the Exorcist rules in Twisting Fates I can't see when I would us the Exorcise spell over the Crossbow.

Both have the same Dg line but the Crossbow has Critical Strike with a Ram built into the CB. I could see the point of casting it vs spirits if it wasn't for the fact the Crossbow is magical.

So am I missing something or is the Crossbow always a better bet ?

Interesting, both are magical, both are ranged, the range is equal, both are resisted with Df, both have a 5 base stat but the spell needs a crow, and the bow has Critical strike.

The spell seems useless to me this way...

Exorcise has the trigger Banish to Oblivion which the crossbow doesn't.

Thanks for that its been bugging me. I was sure i was missing something and didn't even think to look at the triggers. :facepalm:

This confused me the first couple times I read the exorcist card as well. As stated above the trigger for Exorcise is why you want to use it over the crossbow.
