  1. The Steampunk & Horror & Western feeling = the Coriphée Duet
  2. The Duet can do this and she/they are not Colette exclusive (just Arcanist)
  3. Answer this please, because we always played it, like Csonti said EDIT: i screwed up the quotes
  4. Voted on Seamus I don't use living models. Sometimes i play against him. Winning with him in this enviroment is not easy...
  5. I play a lot with Ramos, and before i added Kaeris, my win/lose ratio was nearly 5:1 (1 because of luck ). So yes, Kaeris is a good piece for the crew. If you have her & the mobile toolkit, which is a "must have first for Ramos" unit, you can surge with them 3-4 in a turn. Stacking good cards can win you the game. Learn to use the SPA's (steampunk arachnids) swarm and scatter mechanisms. Hitting 4 with a swarm is worse than hitting 3 then scatter, 2 arachnids latch on, and hit 1+1, and you can summon a new one with Ramos (just kill the third one for a healing flip) next to the two, swarm, and the fresh arachnid swarm can hit 2 more. Swarms are beasts. Oh, and try to magnetize the arachnids, or buy minimum 2 more blisters, because you'll need most of the time 2 swarms and 6 SPA-s in a 35SS game. Don't be afraid to blow your arachnids up with the old guy. This way you can damage anything near the spiders without a Df flip. Oh, and the second must have model is the electrical creation. Sadly it's not a construct, but it's a spirit, and floats. You want to summon one once per turn (after the first kaboom-ed in the enemy's face). Don't use Ramos only for digging scrap and summoning, Walk him, summon the EC in the middle of the enemy / on a strategic point, heal your swarms, and spike weak enemies down with Electrical fire. Ramos has 8 Ca, so it's hard to resist.
  6. Interesting, both are magical, both are ranged, the range is equal, both are resisted with Df, both have a 5 base stat but the spell needs a crow, and the bow has Critical strike. The spell seems useless to me this way...
  7. Perdita is one of the easiest and strongest Guild master, if you'll play a lot of Guild, you will field her a lot. Personally i like Sonnia more but Perdita is more competitive. If you want to play other Guild Masters, Nino is a good addition to every crew. If you want to add more minions, consider buying Abuela and an other big hitter, like the Executioner or a Convict gunslinger. Abuela can shotgun wedding them to the family, so they can alpha strike with the mexicans. (Oh and Perdita's totem and Abuela can obey-move the Executioner, with Perdita is 3* moves. The Executioner is slooooow but when he get's into meele he's a monster and nearly unkillable too.)
  8. MTK is surely better, if you use Kaeris as your henchman, she and Ramos have auto surge in all turns if you position them correctly (because of the +tome). This way you can change 3-5 cards in a good turn, and card control in this game is good. Ramos is much better as an explosion factory than a summoner, but to summon EC's like a madman in good positions, he needs to walk a lot. I only use summon spider when i need to activate a scattered swarm, if i have a scrap, it's free, if not, i just kill a spider to heal the others, and summon the 3rd again from it. It's just 1Ap+1 0 action and when the fresh spider activates, it can swarm again, and the swarm immediately can attack because of the +2MM. Oh, and auto heal too. Ramos is awesome. aRamos i even better: you can scatter a swarm after hitting with it 3 times, the little ones can activate, next time aRamos can override them: it's 2more attacks, 1 more to swarm, and 2 more att. with the Arachnid Swarm of doom. Oh and if 1 of them is killed, he can just summon it again (but maybe a LSA is better, but it's situationally).
  9. Witchling stalkers are great, better than the Death Marshalls in my opinion. You should definitely grab a 3-pack I allways have 2-3 in my crew when i play with the Guild.
  10. Yes but the Duett is way more faster, have good defenses and can use soulstones, and much more versatile than the SS / Mech rider. 3 Silurid are maybe better if you have 3 cards for leaping, but the Duet doesn't need that...
  11. It can, fe. if the strategy is shared claim jump. Seamus and the Belles are resilient, they can camp a place. The Dreamer can't.
  12. Actually, this whole tier list is bullsh*t, it all depends in your local metagame. In our LGC (local gaming club) there are a lot of ressers, and they play very good with Nicodem / McM. I'm an experienced Colette player, and they can beat me with Nicodem if the luck is in their side. There are no tiers, just good or average players with small / a lot of experience in their crews. /Except maybe for Hamelin because the guy with him won the last 2 tourneys here (but he's a really good Malifaux player too) :P/ And experience & tactical skill means a lot. You can be a total noob with the Dreamer and yes, even the Gremlins can beat you if you don't have enough experience with him.
  13. Protected models give away wounds, not Dg, so only the first model's armor counts. But the Hoff can make a damage reduction flip when it's his turn in the chain. Also, i think, the protect's effect kill the Proxy, so the Guardian needs to flip or die...
