Nicadem 'Enslaved' question

hey guys, I dont currently play (first army is in the post) but I was reading though the Statcards for the Resurrectionists and found this odd on Nicadems card:

Empty Vessel: After killing a living or Undead

defender with a Cane Strike or Decay, place a number of

Mindless Zombies equal to the defender’s base size in base contact with the defender before it is removed from play.

soooo if I kill a 40mm based model I get to put down....40 Mindless Zombies?

I'm not bashing the rules, I love all of them but I think I'm reading this one wrong.

Dont worry i questioned this myself when i started

The sizes are 1 for a 30mm, 2 for a 40mm and 3 for a 50mm

So in your case, the 40mm would generate 2 mindless zombies.

Oh, you will still need at least 6-9 if you plan on using avatar nicodem, mabey only 6 if not.

I cant count the times ive run out of corpse counters and mindless zombies to represent them all.

Oh I'm still plaing on getting a few, just not as much as when I thought I would need 30-50 for every kill

Ive had fun converting my extra models into zombies. My favorite is my extra Von Schill who has been reposed and painted to be one.

thats a great idea, I would love to create some character zombies...well theres my weekend planned.
