Black Joker/Red Joker

Last night my Girlfriend and I were playing and intro game (her first game ever! WOO) but she had a negative 2 twist to her defense. She flipped 3 cards and lo and behold she got the black and the red joker (along with an 8 or something)

Which card do you take? The black? The Red? Time paradox

From page 23 of the Rules Manual:

Black Joker – The Black Joker has a value of 0 and no suit when it is revealed. The Black Joker must be used by a player when it is revealed, even if it is revealed with the Red Joker.

if its originally a soulstoneable flip, can you soulstone along with a black joker?

Yes. It prevents cheating, but not adding a stone.

interesting. It'd mostly be for naught, but if its an all or nothin duel, you could always pull the rabbit out of the hat

What trumps what:

Black Joker - trumps everything

Red Joker - trumps penalty modifiers when flipped

Penalty flips - trump cheating

No modifier/bonus flips - allow cheating

Additional card with a Soulstone - not affected by the above.

do red jokers trump penalty flips in regards to cheating? IE you have a negative flip, can you cheat with the red joker over it? Or does it only trump penalties when its flipped?

Me and my friend have been playing it as only when its within the flip
