Kelle341
I've been playing Marcus a lot recently but have been having trouble finding minions that can take a hit and keep going without having to spend massive points on huge models any help would be appreciated. poulpox
You could use Myranda to heal models, use Night Terrors (spirits) or Molemen (high armour); beside this it's pretty much about using LoS to your advantage and hide well and use cover. Marcus' normal beaties are not very resilient (low/average Df and average no of Wds) in general. I know you don't want big beasties, but I'm using Snow Storm + Myranda combo and I really like it (allows Myranda some shooty spells on top of her healing and combat potential, hence maximizing her role in the crew aND SS can place ice pillar to further block LoS, excellent!) Q'iq'el
I don't know Marcus very well, but Waldgeist appear to me as obvious choice - tough, decent fighters and if there is any forest on the table, they become so much stronger. They don't cost arm and leg either. Edited November 24, 2011 by Q'iq'el
ukrocky
Most of the bases have been covered already tbh but my thoughts would be; Night Terrors Molemen Snowstorm Steamborg Executioner Waldegeist Jackdaw Killjoy Kaeris Von Schill Ice Golem Mannequins Gunsmith Johan Hamelin the baby Soulstone Miner Large Steampunk Arachnid Can all be rather difficult to kill via various means that aren't the usual Marcus/Slurrid/Ceberus staying out of sight then moving onto you. Fulgrima
I would speak up for the humble Waldgeist nice bit of armour hit ok for their points and if you have woods they are even better.
ukrocky
Plus the waldegeist and the night terrors both have some lovely combat triggers.
