eudaimon
They have been mat varnished, just not with dullcoat (it interfere's with the colours too much). They aren't that shiny when not under camera flash!
eudaimon
Hi again, its been a while, but here I am with an update. First up, one of my most favouritest models, Steampunk Dorothy from the Guild of Harmony. This is such an alive model, so much detail. In fact, that makes it hard to paint, there is just so much going on with the model. I am thinking of using her as Hans, or a Convict Gunslinger, or Gunsmith or any excuse to get her on the table!! The Coryphee I finished last year, using my patented pinning system. It is easy to move the models from the split base, to the joined base. Practically though, I just use the 40mm bases without the models on for the first turn.
LonelyPath
Still excellent work and that Dorothy is particularly amazing. I think the models could do wit ha little dulling down though, but if you get GWs Acrylic Medium (or similar product) and paint a thin coat of that over the top o the varnish it should do the job nicely, just try it on a test miniature first though, but it does work quite effectively. eudaimon
So I have been painting Warhammer for a while, but now is time for more Malifaux. I eased myself in with this one: Simple and easy, and got me back ready to paint Billy Connolly. Now this is a beautiful model, but for some reason I really didn't get my mojo painting it. At the end, I am happy with the outcome, but it was a bit of a slog. C&C welcome.
eudaimon
And you can't keep a man down when he is on a roll. Hot on her partner in crimes heels comes Trinity!
Demonn Agram
Overall a great looking crew! but for me personally, your darker coloured models (like Gunsmiths) are much better than the brighter ones (showgirls). it would be cool to have the whole bunch in a singel shot
eudaimon
And to mark the halfway mark in her box set, here is the firey bombshell Kaeris in a step by step. A beautiful model and a joy to paint. And here she is with the rest of the trenchcoat mafia.

eudaimon
Here are the fire gamin! Didn't have the most fun painting these. Not quote sure why, the models are good enough, I just didn't get my mojo. That is it for Malifaux for a while, gonna paint some more Dwarfs / Skaven.
