ShootMePerdita
if my opponent has hard to wound 1 and i am at minimal damage, so that makes me flip 2 then 1 for hard to wound total of 3 and on the flip the red joker comes out. does that negate the take the lesser of the 3 or not? 0 Fetid Strumpet
You may always take the Red Joker whenever it appears in a flip unless the duel specifically says you cannot or if the Black Joker appears as well, in which case you must take the black. This does create the somewhat odd situation that Hard to Wound models have a sort of mixed advantage in that more often than not they will not take higher dmg, but every once in awhile will potentially be killed in one attack by a lucky red joker flip. 0 Bigkid
It evens out when you have several positive flips and you get a black joker though. Swings and roundabouts...

Jokers are game changers, and they're supposed to be.
0 Stern
Agreed. Jokers are game changers, and they're supposed to be. Or as I like to call them combo breakers!
