Crunchysock
I decided I would probably run my Convict Gunslinger with Perdita alot, no real strategic reason, I just know Mexicans love jailbirds. It's not racist if I say it cause my wife is Mexican and, nevermind, anyway. Not being a fan of the Convict's hair I decided it needed to go. If I was more skilled with the green stuff I'd try to make him look like Danny Trejo but I'm not so he's getting some Lee Press On Accessories. I gave him an eyepatch, cause it's gangster, and I'm working on a Perdita style hat for him, so him and his ruca look clean together. Tune in tomorrow (maybe, probably not though) when I turn my Enslaved Nephelim into El Cucuy, cause really, what's a Mexican girl know about a Nephelim. Crunchysock
Santiago is Perditas brother, cochino!
Crunchysock
No progress on the Cucuy, I forgot it was the first day of school and I had Jersey Shore and Big Brother so I slacked. I did kinda finish the Convict Gunslinger's hat though.

Crunchysock
I've been lagging on my Malifaux, school is keeping me busy. I was able to get the Convict Gunslinger's hat finished and remove all the flash and stuff. Whenever I finish the conversion on this Rackham mini I've been obsessed with I'll prime them both up and get started on my Nephelim-Cucuy, maybe. MightyBroden
I think that your gunslinger would make a good Latigo Pistolero. I mean it'd better off as just the gunslinger but you do have that option.

Borzag
You got me, I'm pretty green. What's a Latigo Pistolero? Sounds like it'd be the generic Ortega minion from Twisting Fates.
Chromophile
Wow. This is a cool conversion. Simple, yet full of attitude. Can't wait to see the painted version.
MightyBroden
@Borzag: Yes it is the generic Ortega minion from the new book and he isn't too bad. Not good either but you can't expect much from a 3 SS minion.
Crunchysock
I finally got a chance to paint my Convict Gunslinger, I'm pretty happy with it. It's shiny as hell but I didn't feel like going to the garage to dullcote it tonight so I'll do that tomorrow.

MightyBroden
Very nice C/S, I like it. It looks similar to mine except mines a stock mini and paler than yours.
Crunchysock
Thanks M/B, are there pictures of yours posted? I just finished him up a while ago. It was my first base of that type so it didn't come out entirely like I envisioned but I'm okay with it. Overall for my third mini I'm stoked. I'm going to go post it over on CMON and see what kinda feedback and tips I can pick up. Edited August 29, 2011 by Crunchysock

Crunchysock
Not really a work in progress but I thought I'd throw it up here anyway. I guess it's a crew work in progress. I finished my Francisco and changed the Convict Gunslinger's base to match.
Vinncent
Francisko looks really great :congrats:
Fettster
Looks good. Give us a tutorial on how you did the hat as I need to do one for my Miss Demeanour model Leigh
MightyBroden
I like what you've got going here. I'm getting a very old west vibe, like those old Clint Eastwood movies. And C/S sorry, I don't have any of my stuff on here. No camera for me :bawling: Edited September 6, 2011 by MightyBroden
Vin
The denim pants look great. I like the look that the forward tilted hat gives him as well. Excellent conversion.
dsmiles
I really like that Convict. (I may have given him a hand-rolled smoke, though.)
Crunchysock
I finished my Nino, finally. I'm really not happy with how he came out but I'm not touching him again. I broke him twice, at the wrist and ankle while painting and I was completely flustered. Anyway, here's my Nino.
dsmiles
Pics are awfully dark, but from what I can see, he looks pretty good.
MightyBroden
Is there anyway you could make it brighter? I love your work on the other models but I can't really see Nino.
