BrooklynMike
I'd like to get some thematic terrain, buildings and such to augment our collection at our game club (www.nycwargames.com). We've recently jumped enthusiastically through The Breach and have a dedicated crew of players I want to encourage. Can anyone suggest a company that carries this in the suitable scale? Also, I'm thinking of getting a few 3' x 3' play surfaces that we can easily set up on a table top. I'm not sure the best material to use ...ie I think wood would warp, and maybe foam core would be too fragile. Any suggestions?
CrimsonWraith
The beautiful thing about Malifaux's diverse terrain means that pretty much any terrain for 25mm wargames will work. Wood is probably the best choice. A particle board is probably the best bet, as the different wood grains prevent any warping. And its cheap. Ratty
Have a look at this thread http://wyrd-games.net/forum/showthread.php?t=14084 I made up enough terrain for 2 packed 3'x3' tables in a week over christmas using this technique and they are holding up very well. Definitechoice
I was thinking of picking up a 3x3 Zuzzy Mat or two to use as playing surfaces. I have a 6x4 Ruined Land mat; it's a great product though I found it more than a little annoying to paint. I really should remember to bring it down to the club one of these days. FoeRender
The zuzzy matt looks cool , but would be to easy to pre-measure counting those squares .
lbd
I have a scorched earth mat from Zuzzy and it is so cool. I just painted a few seeks ago. It only took about a 1/2 a day and came out great. I totally recommend their products
