bowchikawowers
I can have a pet?!? Where did they hide those in the rule book? Srsly tho.... I've been mulling this one over since I made the character... Feels like weeks ago. I got nuthin... Well, pretty much nuthin. I mean, I could always fall back on crazy and loyal to the ship cause she'd rather talk with the engines than have to figure out real from imaginary with the crew... Oooh or I could have someone I think is there , but actually doesn't exist.
Mako
Heh, have the ships designer as a hallucination?
edonil
Whoever the ship captain is, I'd expect. We still haven't settled that, but since the captain is the 'owner' of the ship...
Mako
Aww, but loyal to the captain is so predictable and useful!
Mako
Woo, that's the Judge and three death marshals painted and based. They just need finishing with Varnish and a little bit of special effect now.
bowchikawowers
Hehe... I like the imaginary friend bit more and more... You think Jaime would let me get away with it? Congrats on three complete models, mako! I thought you already did those though?
Mako
Four models! I did the dead justice set last year, but these are the new plastic ones. You'll have to ask on friday, I doubt he'll say no though!
bowchikawowers
Ah, sorry. I can't count . Need a backup plan just in case he won't...
Mako
A pet rivet? You can put googly eyes on it and have it ride on your shoulder
bowchikawowers
Ha!! That is awesome. Totally my plan b. only not a rivet.... I think a washer is more my style... With a fuzzy puffball really big google eyes and pipe cleaner legs to cling to my shoulder with. I'm totally going to make this thing...
edonil
I don't think he'll go for an imaginary friend, he can't torture them to play on your loyalty.
bowchikawowers
eh, I'm crazy, what makes you think he can't make me see him being tortured? Heck, just putting the group in a situation, and him with us, that would be... less than awesome would do it.
Mako
I thought you'd been having troubles with the washer, bow? It would be kind of surreal to have him torturing an imaginary friend. The rest of us sitting about wondering what's going on... And then the psyker goes bang. Wait no, that's Only War. My bad!
edonil
You do realize you're ending up with Fozzy's character from Muppet Treasure Island, don't you? Also, I vote going for the pet rivet, it adds to the crazy in a way that imaginary friend doesn't.
Mako
As an added bonus, a pet rivet or washer would be immune to accidents involving my pistol, so we're good for an assault if it ever gets kidnapped.
bowchikawowers
lol no it'd probably be me shooting at nothing, or waving wrenches around in the air. I haven't seen muppet treasure island in a long time. I don't remember fozzy's character well. ... It was something to do with his thumb though wasn't it? I do really like the washer idea. I might have to make that before our session tomorrow... How are you doing with not sleeping so you can watch all of firefly, Mako?
edonil
Yeah. "We're taking orders from a man that lives in a bear's thumb?" 'Exactly!'
Mako
I achieved the not sleeping thing. Sadly, wasn't watching firefly though...
bowchikawowers
Ah. Right. Thanks, Ed. That's unfortunate, Mako. why weren't you watching firefly? What could possibly be more important?
Mako
It was absolutely vital I dozed off every three quarters of an hour, so I could wake up with a start about half an hour later. Utterly essential, it was
bowchikawowers
Ah, yes. I can see how you would have been in trouble if you'd missed that. I need a hot glue gun. or maybe super glue would work... I Think I actually have all the materials necessary for my little washer pet...
Mako
Welding torch? I hear they're good for pom poms. If you're gentle, the rivet may be ok too
bowchikawowers
it's not a rivet. Rivets just look like threadless screws with something wrapped around them until you actually put them in metal. It's a washer.
Mako
I thought the rivet was the larval form of the wingnut?
