edonil
Very, very true. Thinking two squads of Marines in Rhinos and a Captain. ---------- Post added at 04:16 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:12 AM ---------- Using the Heavy Trooper models, honestly. Want an excuse to pick up some of those anyway, lol.

SteamHammer
Started the Warrior Chronicles by Bernard Cornwell. I think I've read book 1 before and really liked it but then never got around to the rest. But I got the book 1-6 compilation so having fun ploughing through that. Saighdear
Good morning all. You will find a buy edonil, with the new Codexes and supplements coming out for them, plus the Heldrake is one of the more popular flyers due to it's rules and statistics. edonil
Sweet. Scifi, fantasy or other? ---------- Post added at 04:39 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:38 AM ---------- Heh, I don't have any Heldrakes. I have a bunch of infantry and a ton of the Forgeworld Renegade Militia.
Saighdear
It's a historical fiction, tried getting into it a few years back.
SteamHammer
What he said. 9th century AD I think.
edonil
Hmm...interesting. Don't tend to see a lot of fiction place things in that timeframe.
SteamHammer
Makes a nice change. I blame Darklands for me reading it. Just as I'm jonesing to watch The 13th Warrior again.
edonil
Never seen that one before...how much longer on that Darklands kickstarter?
Saighdear
It's a good film. I'm looking forward to trying out Darklands with Steam.
SteamHammer
Day and a half I think. It's a good film, I wish they remade it into a TV series as then you'd have more attachment to the characters. Seems a bit rushed in the film. edonil
A lot of films tend to have that problem, especially good ones.
SteamHammer
Plus it's quite old now so short. These days a lot of films are 2 and half hours long whereas it's only about 100 minutes.
edonil
Ugh. And most of those you tend to feel every one of those minutes by the end. >.<
SteamHammer
Yup. It's pretty rare to find a film that goes by without glancing at the clock wondering how much more is left to go.
Saighdear
Yeah that is very rare. Well I got to go and do Uni work, see you guys tomorrow.

edonil
Last one for me was Pacific Rim, honestly. Riddick almost would have been that but the last fifteen minutes dragged on...and on...and on...
SteamHammer
Not seen either of those, both on my Lovefilm list.
