Evilbleachman
Have you taken any levels in cheddar knight? Oh snap! You reminded me that I still gouda do that!
edonil
Heh, your character seems ideally suited for that kind of roleplaying, Mako!
Mako
Very true, I can go wild with the silliness without actually breaking character! I knew that guy would be awesome to use...
edonil
Heh, and honestly, you want to go silly, please do! I like seeing a wide variety of character types.
Evilbleachman
Would you say, your character is a munster of silliness? Or more the blue kind?
Mako
Oh, good ol' Ryder Hawkins will be a larger than life character for sure. Always the one for the big bluff and a flair for the dramatic. And of course, putting bullets in and around everything he considers a cheat *grin*
edonil
Bit of a hypocrite then? I mean, even as a gambler you can't tell me he doesn't rig anything...
Evilbleachman
I thought he wasn't supposed to hit anything? How does he put the bullets in at all? :

Mako
It's a numbers game, after half a dozen pistols, one round is bound to hit! And it's not cheatin when he does it, sah, it's merely playin the odds wisely...
Mister Shine
Im sure he can turn people into swiss cheese if the occasion calls for it

Mako
Even a lousy shot will get off the occasional stunning headshot! Probably when aiming for the leg though... I like the idea of 'adjustin the odds' when it's him, and 'low down cheatin' if someone else does it. "Knew a fella once, caught him with a pair of cowboys in his sleeve. Had to teach him a lesson, of course. They were the cards I wanted to keep."
edonil
...tried to think of a way to keep the cheese puns going, but I've got nothing. ---------- Post added at 12:13 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:13 AM ---------- Heh, will make for some interesting group dynamics! Mako
I'll be somewhat impressed if we manage to work with each other long enough to even find out what were supposed to be doing!
edonil
Well, technically that's my job...I'm sure I'll find a way to manage it. Or hell, you guys make me improv the whole thing, that might work too, I guess...? Hopefully encounter building is easy in TTB, because I intend to make a file of a lot of random ones in case you guys say 'to hell with the plot tonight, let's explore (insert location)'
Mako
What about when we split the party to explore several of the random locations? :-P Making a few random backups as well as freewheeling it sounds like a good plan, I can't imagine we'll leave you totally stumped unless we try something really stupid! So, ten minutes in? Lol
edonil
...why do I get the feeling I should keep a timer going to keep track of that bit?
Mako
How fast we reach critical stupidity, or how fast we manage to fall off the plot wagon? Lol

Evilbleachman
Two things I am going to blurt out there: Currently reading Ken Follet's 'Fall of Giants'. It is awesome, thus far. Second: I just pre-ordered those naga type models from Bushido the game. Figured since I will eventually get into a raving paintathon on Japanese/Asian based models, I might as well pick up some of those too.
edonil
Never heard of that book. What genre?
Evilbleachman
Historical fiction. It starts off shortly before the First World War and the trilogy will probably end sometime during the Cold War.
