edonil
Well, not saying that there isn't a backlash in the states for not being interested in sports or drinking. Just that wargaming doesn't stand out for being well known.

Mister Monkey
Never actually played 3.5.... my 3 was used so seldom I did not bother swapping over....
edonil
Ahh. Well, shouldn't be too hard to pick it all up. Think you'll be able to convince a group to start up so you can try it out?
Mako
I think I'm lost. Are we on RPGs? If we're not, I've really got the wrong end of the stick!
Mister Monkey
That is always the tricky part .... I have so many RPG's I never got around to actually playing.
edonil
Sorry, Mako. We're talking the old Star Wars RPG.

edonil
...you know, I don't even think I have grounds to argue that one. Just stay away from KOTOR or the Starships of the galaxy books. Talk about rarity inflation o.o

Mako
Oh, I reckon I can just about get my head into place to start hammering words down Thursday morning at work. I want to get some of the next scene down first, so I can establish a bit more of the situation ---------- Post added at 07:04 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:04 AM ---------- You itching to get started? Mister Shine
Hey I finally bought a new keyboard! Look at me not posting from work OR typing by pushing buttons with a mouse. Thats real Nito. Down side, going to bed soon! Plus side, bought a new headset! Down side..... going to bed for work in the morning? Bleh.
edonil
Oh yes! Nano is just something special. Here's hoping I can get involved with the community this year... At the moment, I'm messing around with a program called Scrivener to see if it'll help me keep track of everything. It was that or work on the pseudo-romance scene, and I'm just not sure what to do with it at the moment. Elle just seems to be staring at it curiously waiting for me to come up with the details this time.

Mako
Heh, romance isn't really Elle's strong point I guess, the bloodthirsty girl that she is! I've heard someone mention scrivener, but I know nothing about it. What's it like? Monkey, join us on the NaNo side, not only do we have cookies but copious anounts of coffee! Mister Monkey
I barely have time for Iron Quill let alone something of those epic proportions
Mako
It's not so bad, it's only like doing an iron quill every day for a month... Eep, I just terrified myself with that comparison!
Mister Monkey
Ha Ha with work, hobbying and wedding I have so little time left.
edonil
I'm not really sure what Scrivener's like, honestly. Got distracted looking up character tropes. And, honestly, Elle is much better at romance than she used to be. At least this time around the characters have actual chemistry! (I think. >.> Arias and Kiiva seem to have some, at least...right?). Messing around with the program a little, it lets you organize things into Chapters and Scenes, along with storing notes on setting and characters. Plus, lots of customization with adding folders and such. Impressive so far. And I had never thought of it as a Quill a day...I've been more thinking in terms of it's about two scenes a day.
