tenabrae
Nice tute, you can do simple feathers in a similar way to the leaves (longer and pointier).
AvatarForm
Very nice and well explained. For those without the time, patience or skills, try http://www.fiendishfabrications.com.au I recently used their Victorian Streets bases and they have soem interesting 'steps' and street corners also. eudaimon
How do you go about pinning delicate Malifaux models (with teeny tiny feet) into the base?
LordFett
Having only just started working with green stuff, the other tips in here are very welcome as well. Thanks.
AntiZombie
How do you go about pinning delicate Malifaux models (with teeny tiny feet) into the base? just wait till the green stuff hardens and drill right through the base. LordFett
just wait till the green stuff hardens and drill right through the base. I think the question was more, how do you drill the tiny Malifaux models... Not the bases.
AntiZombie
Having only just started working with green stuff, the other tips in here are very welcome as well. Thanks. Well practice is key. But a few good things to keep in mind is to start out with the rough shape then slowly push and pull and squish until you get the shape you want. If your doing something intricate like figure sculpting its important to keep working the green stuff ( sometimes for up to an hour). Its also a good idea to work on small sections at a time. patience is key. keep your tools clean and invest in a dental tool. Also its a good idea to look around the internet. lots of good advice and you can find a tutorial for almost anything.
