I notice that they all have little bits of ice hanging off of them. That's a nice touch. The bases are great too.

Thanks .... I'm not the best painter in the world but I'm havin fun with the modeling aspects of these guys.

@ Peter ... LOL, the one with his hands up? I wanted him to look like he was "thumbing his nose" so to speak at the opponent.

I Use Woodland scenics Water Effects and Snow Flock stuff mixed more or less in equal parts. The bases themselves are build up from cork, Rasputina's has a stone on it as well. Painted VMC Wolf Gray dipped in Army Painter Dark Tone. That was nice as it strengthened the cork. I then applied the mix of snow and "ice" that I made while it was pliable. The Ice on the dead trees and minis is just water effects layered on bit by bit. Wait to dry. More layering.

I used more water effects to "glue" on some lichen bits (Pale colored Woodland scenics Lichen), and some pine needles that had gotten into the bag of lichen .... hey, why not.

I have a 'Crazy Cat Lady' list... hoarcats and 2 x sabretooth cerberus.

Its fast, but lacks the mirrors.
