Eternally Shackled & Hollow Waif Interaction

Hi all,

I just want to confirm the interaction between Leveticus' Eternally Shackled and the Hollow Waif's Shackled abilities.

If Leveticus dies during a turn and 1+ friendly Hollow Waifs survive through the turn:

1) Eternally Shackled activates during the Closing Phase, restoring Leveticus to life and sacrificing all friendly Hollow Waifs.

2) The sacrificed Waifs return during the end of the Closing Phase per their Shackled ability

Is this correct? Or do they not return if Leveticus sacrifices them to escape death?

You are correct - If any of their number survive, then they're back up to their full compliment in the closing phase.

You basically have to kill Leveticus and all Hollow Waifs to get rid of them, otherwise they just keep coming back. It's pretty doable to kill Levi and a single Hollow Waif, it becomes more of a problem once he gets the second one hidden on the board somewhere.

Also, consider him at brawl level. The rare 2 on waifs goes up to rare 4. /cackle. take 3 dogs at 6 points and then turn them all into waifs turn one ^^

That is kinda evil. But rather than spending actions killing the dogs, wouldn't it be more efficient for them to dig up the bodies using the gravedigging action and have them hand off the corpses to Leveticus in turn 2? That way you get to keep the viscous little buggers.

As per the errata, the gravedigging action no longer exists.
