marshal8
How was she painted, the model in the online store. Is there a white wash on her or what exactly. I can't copy it.
Major_Gilbear
I think you're better off asking in the painting part of the forum...? Anyway, I think you need to start with a very light grey (almost white), and then carefully wash it with a very thin paint + matte medium mix, concentrating increasingly on the recesses. Then a few careful highlights of very thin white paint + matte medium. Matte medium makes the paint more translucent (ie, see-through), which makes it ideal for smooth shading and highlighting as you can gradually build up the colour you want quite easily. Just need a little patience, a steady hand and a sharp brush - nothing more. Hope that helps!
Parintachin
This one? It looks like layering and two-brush blending expertly done from a very dark blue to very nearly white. That triangle-pattern on the skirt? Sheesh; miles outta my league. Who painted her?
Nathan Caroland
Eric Johns (EricJ) painted her. I'm sure he'll pop along and give you an answer here when he finds the thread. Knowing Eric it was probably painted with three colors total, two of them being black and white.
Chucklemonkey
Rasputina is one of my very favourite Wyrd mini's but I cannot bring myself to buy her. The difficulty of painting those frosty shades and ruining the stunning model totally intimidates me.
