nerdelemental
I like the papercraft models for their cheapness and convenience, but I find they need to be mounted on foamcore to give them the necessary heft. The Middenheim streets and sewers set from WWGames looks ideal for Malifaux, however (esp the sewers). any links or pics?
Sholto
Hmm - Himmelveil, not Middenheim. My bad. Here you go - http://www.worldworksgames.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4&products_id=
shadowbeast
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2739/4074813616_d4dc0cd8e4.jpg I haven't had much trouble with Armorcast at all, except for those medical floating tanks like the bacta tanks in Star Wars. the resin wouldn't allow the paint to dry and the tubes were horrible sections of badly cut plastic cylinder that you couldn't cut to shape as they kept squashing about everywhere. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2739/4074813616_d4dc0cd8e4.jpg http://www.expedition360.com/australia_lessons_literacy/arltunga_police_sta.jpg http://images.aad.gov.au/img.py/2a89.jpg http://www.townsville.qld.gov.au/townsville/heritage/heritage_kit/guide2 (scroll down a bit) I also have some WWG packs, the most suitable I find is Wildwood Grove, Swampwoods Village and Streets of Himmelveil, which I simply cut out and use as tiles normally, not bothering with the foamcore business as I can't get any. I would also use Shellendrak Manor and Cathedrae Noctis but now I don't work for the office equipment shop anymore I can't get printing so economically and I've no storage. Still, see what you think: http://www.worldworksgames.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=48&products_id=178 http://www.worldworksgames.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=48&products_id=288 The lava tiles of the Dungeonlinx 2.5d: Lair of the Dragon God set look they can be used for steampunk/VSF/AMF too, like the floors of a factory- a bit flat, and characters can't climb down as is, but even with the flow off you might want to refrain from going down there anyway... http://www.worldworksgames.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7712&start=
AmishLuvah
Hmmm. This wasn't too bad of a necropost.
Teddy Sassafras
I don't think anyone has mentioned it yet, but Hirst Arts is really good stuff. I use his molds to make buildings and walls and since you are basically casting the building blocks, you can use the same molds to make different varieties of buildings. It goes a little faster than building foam-core stuff.
Bleeding Through
As good as the paper style buildings look. I think to me anyway they wouldn`t do the job as it were. I have some citadel scenery kicking around like the chapel house and the manor house I was thinking of using to make an old town area complete with graveyard made from some other spare bits and pieces. Mattimao
I am in the middle of building a western town. We already have plenty of fantasy/sci-fi stuff. Figured I would try Victorian next. We are still just learning to play , so we are using very little terrain so we can focus on the rules more. Once the rules are down better... watch out! :ahhhhh:
