DireTrollJake
anyone have a good tutorial?
mriverakc
Just a quick tip. Depending on the surface I draw the flames. Then I start with a base coat of white. Once dry I paint the area an orange and blend to a yellow. Sorry I have no photos or video to demonstrate.
Omenbringer
Probably one of the best inks for painting fire; http://hot-lead.org/advance/fire.htm

wetdigestive
good point he makes in the tutorial about people painting flames the wrong way around ( orange at the base and white at the tips ). But...omg!...16 STEPS?!? I admit his flames are good, but I think this could probably be reduced by a few steps and still be effective? Don'tcha think? Brushmistress
You can also check out the "My Bishop's On Fire" article in Wyrd Chronicles Volume 3. Not quite so many steps. The thing to remember, as mentioned above, is that the flame gets darker at the tip, not lighter. The technique is the important part, when I did my flame wall template for Feora, I used somewhere around 5 steps vice the 16.

Bexley
God, people still make websites that look like that? I'm surprised there wasn't a Geocities floating window there.
