cerealkiller195
I was wondering what do people burn the most soul stones on, do you use it to prevent damage, heal damage, add to cast, etc. Do you purposely not hire an extra henchman in order to max out on soul stones? Fool
I was wondering what do people burn the most soul stones on, do you use it to prevent damage, heal damage, add to cast, etc. Do you purposely not hire an extra henchman in order to max out on soul stones? I use them to prevent damage mostly. If you don't take any damage from a hit, then you don't need to heal. Damage is usually more then you will heal anyway, 2 being average. If something is only doing 2 damage I will take that hit. I like to have 5 soulstones, it just depends on the master. With Perdita I will not hire and extra unit just to get more SS, 8 def is great but she doesn't have a lot of wounds. The other 2 masters I will hire what I need and whatever is left is just gravy. Brasidas
Damage prevention and initiative re-flips for me, but I'm not a Guild player. :masks

Magno
Primarily for improving casting, in particular to reanimate and raise Belles. When using McMourning, to make sure I get the slinging scalpels attack off to move faster and get off the kill/heal.
paperbag4
I use mine to add to casting, especially if I can cheat a mask to trigger Overpower on my December's Curse. And for initiative, if there card isn't higher than a 9 and I really feel the need to go first.
nilus
I use them for just about everything. Although personally I prefer to use them for defense rather then for preventing damage. Not getting hit at all is better then getting hit for less in my book.
cerealkiller195
i found out that lesson the other day, i thought hey i could just prevent damage.. it would of been easier to just avoid the hit all together doh!
paradox
Triggers and cheating up a score on attacks/defense. Occasional healing/blocking damage, but I'm still working on that concept.

I rarely add to my cast sonnia more often than not doesn't need it when i play with her lol.
paradox
Yea, I have so far mainly used them to get off ripostes, inflict massive damage, or keep onslaught going (since I play Justice).
nightgaunt98c
I have the Ortegas, I use them sparingly. Mostly late game, when it's really crunch time. Whatever will make the difference. I always flip low when I use them though.
