JonasD
Hi, I am right into starting off a group of minis, based on some of my fav characters from... movies for example. First makes the "Dude", here still WIP. I do plan to give him an Ex-'Nam-Fighter as a friend as well as a rug...
supervike
Very Cool....although, I'm not a huge fan of the movie, he is definitely recognizable!
DrEvilmonki
Which movie is it from?
Hinton
Which movie is it from? The Big Lebowski. Very, very cool. He's not holding a White Russian, though. Oh well; guess there's only so much that can be done with a mini.

JonasD
According to the last comment: I updated the Pic of the Dude (see above) and he now has a friend... Please welcome the 'Nam-Veteran!
Hinton
Very, very cool. I'm looking forward to getting these.
Ritual
Cool minis, and I looooove that film. But aren't the legs too short? They look way too short on the dude, but slightly too short on Walter too.
JonasD
problem is the way the dude likes his clothes: wide and slappy. if you take his arm-length (best visible on the hand he has in his pocket), you can see the real proportions. the hands are always at about halfway of the upper leg. same here, but dues to the baggy-clothing the legs seem to be too short. Ritual
I'm looking at his head and upper body (down to the belt), which seem well proportioned... and then look at where his knees are. There's only a very short distance in between where his thighs would be. And if you look at how many heads you can fit into his full length, there seems to be a bit missing... JonasD
the head is too big - true thing but no accident. I see these figures more as caricatures, so I allowed myself to extend the head size a bit. apart from that: this guy really has a big head, believe me! will lower the knees though, shouldn't be that much of a problem, you are right. thanks
Ritual
Lowering the knees would be a good idea, as it would take away the impression of "no thighs". I still think he would have short legs, but it would work as a caricature piece that way. Oh, and don't forget the rug...
Hinton
Oh, and don't forget the rug... Yeah; it really ties the room together.
