pae
What that Minotaur pirate needs is MORE COWBELL! Oh wait, he has one on his sword. I was remarking on the Reaper forums how much that guy reminds me of Mr. Smite from World of Warcraft.
supervike
Well...I think they are all ho hum, but I do like the Minotaur....Of course my favorite sculptor did it....
vincegamer
Don't know WoW, but I was going to say that minotaur is awesome, but nothing else does the slightest thing for me.
lauth81
How many of those ugly Garrity Angels is Reaper producing? Don´t know what people find in them. The rest is ok, some nice ones. Lots of pirates lately ...
Duende
I like the pirate minotaur but he just doesn't look right in the torso area.... like if you could imagine where his legs meet the body, it seems like he's not proportioned right. I might have to get that angel for my mom. She has a "thing" for male angels, although I'd have to change his staff to something more pacifistic. The rest are kinda ho-hum. pae
Alot of these 'new' DHL figures are actually figures that were in some of the old box sets that are just being put into blisters. Most of the pirates in this group were from Pirates of the Dragonspine Sea set, and the angel was from the Guardians of the Heavens set. I'm looking forward to seeing more 'really new' DHL figures. gi6ers
The guy on the throne is cool, and I initially liked the pirate minotaur but it seems to be really soft on the details...the rest don't really do much for me..
vincegamer
one of the reasons I like the minotaur is that he's soft on detail and has cartoony proportions.
Ritual
None of these do anything for me, and the minotaur probably least of all for the reason gi6ers mentioned.
Wren
I like the guy on the throne quite a bit, and he goes well with a pack of savages they put out last month. I like to see figs drawn from other history/folklore/etc., one of the reasons I like Crunch Waffle stuff so well. The minotaur is fun and does have a great WoW vibe, though I'd probably never paint himself.
DrEvilmonki
What about Jumoke, Khamsin Dervisher letting out a ripper fart! All sorts of diorama possibilities! :bird:
Wren
I, for one, would really like to see a diorama that could convey that a miniature was farting. I challenge you to make it happen DrEvilmonki!
