I'm really diggin' this Patrick! I know you have a background in art, drawing and some sculpting, but your recent return to painting and sculpting has made some very quick leaps and bounds in a rather short time. Same with Vicky. Good on both of ya!

I think perhaps the lighting is just a bit harsh on this one, but then again, I could be completely off the mark here. Either way, the skin seems to really glow and you've done a great job on blending the colors and following the original artwork. Fantastic work!

Thanks ya'll!

The photo on this is a tad blown out as, after shooting it, I discovered I hadn't moved the lamp from shooting smaller figs. Anyway, the actual paint has a bit more "fleshy" tone. I wanted to avoid the sepia-like lighting effect represented in the original art since the figure would be viewed in a variety of lighting situations.
