supervike
WoW...LA I think we are definatly on the same wavelength. The Weird Villians are super!! The Zeppelin Troops are great too. I think I will start unloading my Warhammer stuff, so I can justify buying these all up!!
LeadAsbestos
I've been doing the exact same thing! The Great Mini Clean-Up of 2006 is well under way, both to work up some $$ via eBay, and to justify new purchases to myself and to my ever-vigilant wife. :wavey: I'm thinking about going to HotLead this year, where Bob Murch himself is said to run a fantastic Rugged Adventures game, complete with funny hats and his China Station city set-up! ( The fact that he brings his whole miniature line to sell, including pre-release stuff, isn't a factor in my decision at all! :thumb: ) Between what I'll probably drop there and my desperate need to build a Copplestone Chinese Bandit gang, I've just about pre-spent my whole budget for the year... LeadAsbestos
By the way, here is that Nazi Super-Soldier I mentioned earlier: http://displacedminiatures.com/LeadAsbestos/image.aspx?image_id=10161&from=Projekt%20X Quick job, but I'm happy! LeadAsbestos
It is indeed a Hulk Heroclix. Great sculpt I think. This same model is a Nob in my lil' Ork force.
Spacemunkie
It certainly is. The only Heroclix mini I own:
supervike
That make me think that the Reaper Clay Golem would be a great basis for a Uber Nazi...I turned that one into Hulk... The pants arent really that Fuschia color in real life...more of a purplish....
Spacemunkie
Cool mini. He'd definitely make a rather nifty bio-enhanced Nazi thug!
Nathan Caroland
I'll have to show ya'll what I've got done with my reaper clay golem - tossed some dreadlocks on him, a bone axe in one hand a replaced the other hand with one of those Ogre Kingdom spiked gloves, which is a damn fine fit, exact size which surprised me. I had his skin looking GREAT, but then I decided to darken him up a bit and just screwed it all up, dunked him, and started again and haven't worked on him since. One of these days though. LeadAsbestos
This is what initially inspired my conversion:
LeadAsbestos
Back on topic, that Steel Masked villain is exactly the model I needed to fill the missing link between my Nazis and my 1999 Demonics. Finally, my fiendish plan can be complete!(insert sinister laughter and "Evil LeadAsbestos" John Williams score...) :peace:
Celtic Lilly
Oooh - I like the Nazi Supersoldier. Not something I would normally be interested in due to its content, but I really like this.
