Nathan Caroland
Eureka Miniatures releases a new line of 28mm Soviets from the late 80's and Zombies. http://eurekamin.com.au
Celtic Lilly
Seem a bit, 1980's in sculpting. Nothing wrong with that, as there are some really cool older miniatures, just it doesn't seem to be up to snuff with a lot of stuff that is coming out these days. EricJ
I agree with CL, I think she hit the nail on the head here, just look a bit old and rough by todays standards. I almost thought they looked like old edition zombie/skeleton plastic GW sprues
Celtic Lilly
I have to ask, and I'm not trying to be ugly or rude, but do these companies make any money? I assume there must be a market for the miniatures as otherwise they would not sell. Eureka actually has some good stuff, just some of it seems a bit 'old'. There are a bunch of others though that seem to have been hanging around for years but their stuff seems very, very old school to me. Why is that? Are people stuck on a size and they buy that size no matter what? Or are they so cheap to make that buying a few pays for everything? I don't understand. EricJ
I have the same thought sometimes, how these companies that arn't producing anything new, or anything I'd want to buy, or anything you'd ever see in gaming stores make enough money to make it worth their while. I suppose they must since they keep doing it, but it never made sense to me either. :bird:
