Hungry Land Markers

Hi,

I played Titania (1) tonight in team with the Emissary and a question arose during the game : "Can I place Hungry Land Markers on top or overlaping partially an Underbrush Marker or even an other Land Marker?" We assume it can and played the game accordingly, but the doubt remains (limited to base contact?) and I tought I would ask here to make sure our interpretation of the rules is accurate (or not).

I don’t see any reason why you couldn’t. You’re allowed to drop blasts and other markers on top of other markers, and I don’t see anything different about this situation that would prevent it.

This basically comes down to drop vs create.

When you drop a marker, you can place it on top of other markers.

When you create a marker, you cannot place it touching other markers.

Mysterious Emissary drops its hungry land markers, so it doesn't need to worry about marker overlap.

Note that no marker (including blast markers) may ever overlap impassable terrain.
