Deluge
Greetings All, Does anyone have or does anyone know of a tutorial (not video tutorial I hate those things) for painting in Grayscale or Monochrome on Miniatures? I would like to paint my Pandora Crew in Grayscale with a single bright spot colour but am struggling to find a tutorial to transfer this idea onto a model Cheers Matt
Molja
Haven't seen eny tutorials about this, only suggestions how-to. One way that I remember is to take a photo of the to-be-painted model and turn it to grayscale. Downside of this method of course is that the photo is howing only one side of the model. Mako
There's a tutorial (not on a malifaux model) linked in the first post of my WiP thread. I haven't got time to find and repost the link, but the thread is linked off my sig so you should be able to find the tutorial pretty quickly
Deluge
Mako, that is EXACTLY the sort of thing I was after, many thanks
Otylia
I love the grayscale with burst of color idea for Pandy's crew. Someone had done a very similar approach for the Vik's (very Frank Miller-esque) and it was stellar. Can't wait to see how yours comes out!
Clockwork Top Hat
I like the idea and would love to be able to do it! Might do it for my Dreamer crew when I do it, or Kiria if I ever go for her.
