Before I start working on them, I thought I would look around and see if the crystal models have any special handling instructions, I found nothing. LordFezzington Posted February 28, 2015 Report Share Posted February 28, 2015 I used Humbrol Liquid Poly on my Smoke Tara crew and everything is still as translucent as when it was on the sprue. I should imagine other plastic glues would also work. I'd be wary of superglue because of frosting, but then why anyone uses superglue for plastic models is beyond me anyway! AllistorPreist Posted February 28, 2015 Author Report Share Posted February 28, 2015 Superglue is cheap, dries fast and we usually have plenty especially if we were doing a lot of metal or resins. Plastic cement takes skill and patience. But in the end, if it keeps Tara clear, plastic cement it is! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Requirement Posted February 28, 2015 Report Share Posted February 28, 2015 Plastic cement takes skill and patience. I haven't found that it takes any fantastic level of skill, personally. In fact, once I upgraded to a real plastic cement that actually works correctly, I found my building get better with no extra effort. Now patience... it does take a bit more of that.
