Looking for Blinded Eyes Painting Advice

So I've been slowly painting way through my Jacob Lynch crew, and I've just gotten started on my hungering darkness. I've got what I'd like to do with the body mostly planned out (going for a blue with purple highlights look), but I'm thinking I'd really love my hungering darkness to have those milky blind eyes, since he seems to love spending time creeping around basements and getting buried  

 

I'm not sure how to properly get his orb eyes to look blind. I'm thinking about going with an off white for the base, then highlighting with a yellow... or something? I'm not sure where would be best to apply the highlights to give it a convincing blind look. Any tips would be super appreciated!

I would paint the eye normally and then take a very thin white with a bit of blue added and do as many layers as it takes to make it look proper.

I'd do what Math says. He's a very talented painter and knows a lot about painting.

I would definitely try what Math said. I would maybe even use something like Pale Grey Blue by Vallejo as the thinned down paint.

 

Worst case scenario, they don't turn out and you have to paint over the eyes. Not the worst eyes to have to paint over.
