Burning

Stany

Question

If a master or henchmen gains say burning +4 and say 3 wounds so it will kill the figure during the upkeep step can theses figures at that point take a damage prevention flip? say flip a 6 to 10 so you are now on 1 wound left and are you now not dead?

And sorry probably these are questions that are in the rules just can't see them! amour +1 does that take a point of the burning or poison in the upkeep step?

Cheers guys

In short yes you can. There's nothing stopping a Henchman or Master using SS Prevention to stop the damage for Burning or Poison for that matter.

Armour will reduce the damage of Burning but as Poison only deals 1 damage as it ticks down like a counter Armour is basically useless under those circumstances. If you were being affected by Sebastian's Induction (or a similar ability) which makes you take an additional 2 Damage from Poison each time you take a point of Damage from Poison then the Armour would work against this.

No, Poison has a special rule that it can't be reduced (see the description of the condition in the rulebook). Sebastian's Induction makes a point that the additional damage is also Poison damage, so can't be reduced. Note that if you prevent one damage, Induction won't trigger.

I must have missed that, it's been a while since I had to read up on poison though. Still learning stuff about this game every day!
