So, give an overview of crews that you like the looks of and odds are pretty good that the chosen crew can take the Desperate Mercenaries and make usage of them. Arli Posted September 6, 2014 Report Share Posted September 6, 2014 You should consider Outcasts as that is the 'home' faction for the Desperate Merc. Within that faction, the Mercs will only cost 4 SS. Other than that, as stated above, they can be hired by any other faction at an additional cost of 1 SS. PraetorDragoon Posted September 6, 2014 Report Share Posted September 6, 2014 Well, Outcasts masters can hire them at 4ss, rather than 5ss, so I would say they work better with that. But they don't have great synergies in general, so, not really. Main issue is that I wouldn't pick them in heavy synergy crews, as there are often 4ss options that work far better with the master.
