Gator Snack/Push to Scheme Marker

Question about the push for the Gator Snack ability. The ability reads

 

 

 

(0) Gator Snack: Discard a Corpse, Scrap, or Scheme Marker within 3" to push
this model into base contact with the Marker before discarding it and then flip
a card which may be cheated. Apply one of the following depending on the suit:
R: This model may perform a (1) Attack Action.
C: This model heals 2 damage.
t: This model draws 1 card.
M: Push this model up to 4" in any direction.

In the below picture I know Scenario A is legal. What about B and C? Sorry in advance for not knowing a good way to get the image up here...

All pushes are direct straight lines when pushing in relation to another object.

The push would stop when you get into base contact, since all pushes are directly towards you go center to center. Scenario A is legit the others, not so much...

[Ausplosions]

All pushes in relation to a point are DIRECT.

There is no way B or C are legitimate.
