Guslado
If Rasputina is equipped with the Cold Nights upgrade and casts some Ice Pillars and then later in the same turn the Wendigo uses it's Magical Extension ability to cast the Ice Pillars, does this allow a second set of Ice Pillars to be created or would it just replace the first set of pillars? Ausplosions
It will allow a second set.
Kadeton
You get a second set of Ice Pillars. There's nothing restricting the number of pillars in play, just the number of times it can be cast - once per Activation.
Clockwork_Fish
Feasibly this means you can create a solid wall 4 bases wide, plus any that your silent one(s) may trigger. This, more than any situational use of devour, is why I take the Wendigo. I actually just played a game today using Raspy where, between her and the Wendigo, they blocked off an entire narrow street and forced my opponent's Mei Feng to waste an activation turning around and going back the way she came. Lewkas
You can't actually put 4 pillars side by side as each set of 2 needs to be at least 1 inch away from other markers or models. This includes the existing ice pillars as well as scheme markers.
Gorbad
But bases are wider than 1" so all that really does is add an inch to the width of the wall.
zFiend
But bases are wider than 1" so all that really does is add an inch to the width of the wall. I thought 30mm bases were an inch wide? So they would get through?
Kadeton
One inch is 25.4mm.
zFiend
One inch is 25.4mm. Okay, then I was wrong. Then it makes no difference that they have to be 1" apart.
Guslado
Okay, then I was wrong. Then it makes no difference that they have to be 1" apart. Well, that 1" gap doe provide a little window through which someone can get LOS but can't move through.
