Crooked Grin
So I was looking at pictures from Adepticon on Tabletopgamingnews and saw a couple of pictures from a new miniatures game called Twisted. I really liked what I saw. Seeing the names of the figures it has something to do with Oliver Twist but I can't seem to find more information. https://www.facebook.com/tabletopgamingnews/photos/a.10152053706887945.1073741846.107517222944/10152053719622945/?type=3&theater https://www.facebook.com/tabletopgamingnews/photos/a.10152053706887945.1073741846.107517222944/10152053719612945/?type=3&theater https://www.facebook.com/tabletopgamingnews/photos/pb.107517222944.-2207520000.1396675952./10152053734442945/?type=3&theater https://www.facebook.com/tabletopgamingnews/photos/pb.107517222944.-2207520000.1396675952./10152053720452945/?type=3&theater https://www.facebook.com/tabletopgamingnews/photos/pb.107517222944.-2207520000.1396675952./10152053720207945/?type=3&theater https://www.facebook.com/tabletopgamingnews/photos/pb.107517222944.-2207520000.1396675952./10152053719977945/?type=3&theater https://www.facebook.com/tabletopgamingnews/photos/pb.107517222944.-2207520000.1396675952./10152053719882945/?type=3&theater https://www.facebook.com/tabletopgamingnews/photos/pb.107517222944.-2207520000.1396675952./10152053719822945/?type=3&theater Edit: it's being produced by demented games (www.dementedgames.com) Edit2: The game will be played on printed board sections. https://www.facebook.com/613395575359309/photos/a.722924927739706.1073741828.613395575359309/725416140823918/?type=1&theater

AL the zombie
talked to the representative at there booth for a bit. sounds really interesting he mentioned a Kickstarter in late summer. the models looked great. The concept art book was looking really good as well. I think he said they were going to have 36 miniatures in the first release.
Crooked Grin
Interview with one of the creators on Beastsofwar (starts at around 12:50) http://www.beastsofwar.com/events/adepticon/adepticon-part-3-battletech-freeblades-tectonic-craft-twisted/
LordZombie
I, too, talked with the guy at the booth. Looks like an amazing game. The idea is an enity called the Engine is pulling characters from all over the different worlds and steampunking them to help protect itself from the bad guys in a famous book (I am failing at remembering the book). Some of the characters I seen were Lancelot, Neo, Tesla, and Hensel and Gretel. It is a adventure board game and looks amazing. Can't wait for this one. Elessarion
I saw these guys at Salute today with some concept art, a few painted and unpainted minis and a prototype of the game board. I'm so sold on this it's not even funny! They were really enthusiastic about their product, had lots of plans for future expansions and were looking into ways to incorporate RPG and skirmish game elements into the project at some time in the future. And the minis were GORGEOUS.
St. Murphy
The sculptor for the miniatures is the guy from Guild of Harmony. Absolutely beautiful stuff. I picked up a steampunk Ariel that I plan on using as a proxy for Hans.
