wizuriel Posted April 3, 2014 Report Share Posted April 3, 2014 Hello. I've noticed a few models (like Sam from The Guild) have some build in icons for abilities that don't use those suits. For instance Sam has a built in Ram for his flaming bullets attack, but nothing on his ability uses that ram (or in general for casting with a ram). So any purpose to that ram? In M1.5 models had a Cast Stat alongside Wk, Wd, etc. In M2E the Ca has been moved to the Attacks/Tactical actions which means they work in the same way as Ml and Sh attacks. But in some ways it's good to think of them still having a Ca that is modified depending on the difficulty of the spell or their personal aptitude/training in it. A Rezer Master is good at casting Death Magics so a lot of his Ca spells will have a crow on them even if they don't need it. This means that if an Upgrade comes out that puts a Crow Trigger on all Ca actions, it's already got the suit to automatically use it.
