    Indeed.
And speaking of which, does new artwork mean new model? Should we expect alternative models for each titled version of masters? :)

That would be my best guess. They would make more money selling a model than just releasing cards.

YESSSSSS!!!!! That's so exciting when other people learn some stuff about Molly and unlock her strengths from these guides! Makes it all worth writing.

    Congratulations on the win :)

Thanks bro! I got to play three people from out of state even. First game against sandeep and Titania. Last game was against dreamer. Table had me all screwy round 2 for laylines. We went in tied to the last round. I had most of his models down. He had my crooligan tied up on a layline using Titania so he had a point scored there. I managed to disengage, move around so Molly could drop the last scheme for spread, walk and re activate the crooligan then I leaped archie in so the crooligan could walk and toss him the stone getting the two point swing for the win.

I kind of want to write 2 more parts of the guide:

    • Model-by-model analysis. Go over combos with the 20+ models I think are useful to her play.
    • Molly's activation. She has so many things to do with her activation, a specific guide to handling her activation could be helpful.

Let me know if people want to see these, and I'll try to write them on a week when my health is good :)

I'd love to see both of these personally.

8 models and 10(?) soulstones only if hired in keyword (or none if you decide you want to summon all of them). Might be the worst Soulstones to cost box in the game :)

That's kinda a hilarious observation lol. I'm glad they kept the keyword to 3 boxes however. Alot of model value per box.

From memory, ignoring terrain means you are unaffected by the negative effects (see terrain sidebars in the rulebook).

So I think it actually works against incorporeal!

Literally just finished editing my post saying I need to look into it more. I think I found the spot now that actually confirms you. So yeah, Incorp getting messed up lol

Oh true!! So they're affected by the severe? Super good! Imagine a Hanged hit by severe terrain xD

Actually looking it over I think my initial reading was wrong. Her effect says models cannot be unaffected by her markers terrain traits. Incorp says they ignore terrain while moving and are unaffected by hazardous terrain. So how I think it works is if their moving they ignore the terrain but if they take other actions while in it they take the hazardous.

Edit: I'll need to dig into the rules to see if my reading is correct or not. My reading is based on treating "ignore" and "unaffected" as working differently from a rules perspective

Though spamming her min 2, create a severe pyre marker ability at 14 inches (with built in positives...)

Holy snap that's potent. And you decide which sonnia you use after your opponent declares a master, so you don't do it vs incorporeal crews.

    Very spicy.

Incorp can't ignore her pyres anyway.

Looks like the Vassal World Series is considering it official if it isn't changed, which makes sense to me.

So no more reaping people through forests :(

Although if you want to reap without dragging the other person along, that should be pretty easy to pull of now.

ALSO MEANS YOU CAN DO LEYLINES HOLY SHIT.

Means you should be able to drag them through hazardous terrain and such as well.

  8. So I posted about this in a wyrd place but figured I'd mention it here as well. The reap trigger in the app now says "push the target into base contact with this model" rather than placing the model like it had previously.  Not sure if this was missed in the master document or if this is an accidental wrong card upload.

I think the Yan Lo changes were heavily aimed at the Rebuild Corpus strategies. I think the crew is not as badly hit as Von Schtook? Also an amateur here though.

Try out Pirate Molly with converted models or TOS models!

yeah, although that might have been too weak.

Most complaints I hear about them are around survivability. Just remove the armor and call it a day (or maybe the hard to wound).

I could have been in board with dropping hard to wound tbh. Also I agree on Yan lo. It was clearly targeted against that specific play style (which frankly I dident play myself) so for me it's not bad. Feels bad for the guys who play him that way but feels like Yan has really been set up to be going off round 3 onward which I feel is the whole point.

Sorry Graf, but you're a Molly player now. Come to the one true BYS crew!

Personally I hate the Necropunk nerf as an outsider. Sometimes they'll just flip it whenever they need it, and sometimes they'll flounder doing nothing. At least with Archie he is producing value even on turns he can't leap.

I'd have preferred they made the flip harder rather than taking the suit away

  11. Just want to add That my hot take on the new pool is that I think it's fantastic. It's basically all of the best strats and a new one. The schemes all look pretty viable from first glance and I don't see any easy double ups like claim and mark were together last season. Also adding a scheme marker drop to out flank is exactly what I felt that scheme needed.

Looks like VonSctook and Transmortis got a pretty big shake up.
    Any thoughts?

My first reaction was the Necro-Punk Leap nerf and Undergraduates losing By Your Side seems like a pretty huge mobility hit.

They definitely got hit hard. Between that and shaking up the whole Val missile style of play. I still think the keyword will be a top crew still, just need to adjust how you play some. Maybe this will lead to more divergence in the play style and lead to more creative variance?

It is only a 50mm base for the model.  It's probably going to be subject to a bit of "practical vehicle scaling".  😕

I'd normally expect that, but they make all the other size 4 models blow out past their bases as if we used 80mm. Was expecting something along the general size of chompy or the Rex.

Edit : I actually take the time to look at the new sculpt. Taste are personal, but I'm quite torn about EVS : tidecaller and harata are awesome Bebe and especially Calypso are quite meh for me (I hope Calypso is at least bigger than it look... if it's not we'll have an new size gate).

Calypsos size does seem... Off? To me. And the box is priced in a manner that actually kinda makes me think it will be smaller.
